jw.org down?

Here's a strange one. All day today, I can't get jw.org or wol.jw.org on my Windows PC. I have tried four different browsers and it won't come up anywhere. It hesitates for a long, long time and then gives me a jw.org page with no images.

 

So, I checked the website downforeveryoneorjustme, and it tells me jw.org is down.

 

 

No other websites are giving me any trouble. I can connect to virtually every other website with no issues.

 

However, jw.org works perfectly on my phone and my tablet, even though all three of them go through the same modem! Is anyone else having problems like that? Or, do you know what might be causing my problems?

Sounds like a DNS issue with your ISP, if it's working on other devices. 

 

I'm not having issues myself and I'm on Comcast Business.

I'm using Microsoft Edge and Win 10;  not having any problems

Strangely enough, I can get jw.org now, even though I did nothing. However, https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ still tells me jw.org is down.

It's probably overloaded with brothers still watching the GB Update over and over again....

Actually, it still doesn't work. I must have been seeing the cached files. But after clearing the cache, it's back the way it was.

 

 

PS: It's intermittent now (with the cache cleared). Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Always worked for me in the PacNW.  Were you using Edge?  When I came into work, it wouldn't load any webpages, including our secure sites.  I had to do an end task on all Edge processes to get the browser to work.

I normally use Firefox. But I tried Edge earlier, along with Chrome and Opera; same results from them all.

I think maybe you are getting bad intel from that test website. I just queried it and it shows this (see img). But jw.org/en is working just fine in Georgia.

One brother who is serving in Bethel IT Department told that our site is regularly attacked but mostly we are not see that.
