From memory last year they asked the pioneers pre the meeting if there were any concerns we had.  They addressed these in the local needs.

Ours did that the last 2 years…. It went down like a lead balloon at the meeting.

both years all of us said we’d like to see the Elders in the ministry more, or at least see their support…. It ended in a lecture.

luckily I’ve just moved congregations so hoping for a more positive meeting this year as quite a few of the appointed men are pioneers.

We are blessed with elder pioneers.  Most if not all of our elders are ministry focused.  Our Thursday group sometimes has 5 elders out.  My weekend group has 2 elders and 2 MS and they are out nearly every Saturday along with their wives.  It does make a difference if the elders are ministry focused.

Hope your move has been a good one @TheKid23❤️

Actually, I don't see a Q&A section with this outline for local needs. That may be why it fell like a lead balloon.

Something to give much thought to. It fits also with our Watchtower study, over this last weekend - 'Call the Elders'. Part of their oversight should be seen in their ministry time, working with and speaking to the brothers and sisters. With the new CO starting his visits, there maybe new emphasis on aspects of our Christian life, but one thing is for sure - we all need encouragement, simply to keep on going.

Well done on what you do, Hannah, may you find joy in your new congregation.

I am not yet wise, but I am on the long road that gets me there - Prov 9:10

Thank you Mike, so far I’m loving it!
