Is there someone in your congregation with a very unusual name? Or with a rare but beautiful name? Or someone with a name that doesn't fit them at all? I´m just curious.

There is a sister in my congregation whose first name is "Leokatja". I had never heard the name before and even after 13 years in this congregation it sounds strange to my ears.

I had friend whose first name was Cinnamon. She sadly passed away 3 years ago. As her body was betraying her, she would post on instagram every day she could her daily joys. I would like to share part of that last post with you, so that the joy she gave to my family and others can be yours too. She was only 46.

"To my dearest friends and family, I am sure you have noticed that I have not been on instagram much, and posting even less. I am declining at a very quick rate. I am starting to have issues that are preventing me from doing things I want to do.

Posting my joys every day has given me great happiness and strength to endure. Unfortunately, I have become too weak to talk to text or type posts about my joys. I still am capable of finding a joy every single day. Not a fake joy or a generic joy, but a joy that comes only from being a worshiper of Jehovah. "

There was also a time when my my mom who was in her 80s and getting close to death herself and Cinnamon were in the hospital at the same time. They were even on the same floor. When I told this to Cinnamon, even though her body was in great pain, she managed to make it down the hallway to visit and encourage my mom. She had never met my mom before this day and yet with all the strength she could muster, made the effort to visit my mom.

"Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight"-Psalms 119:143 NIV Translation.

Awww... Jehovah is surely remembering her with a large smile.
