Need help from someone from Portland USA

Recommended Posts

I created a USA virtual address on Portuguese postal offices. Recently I bought a kindle from Amazon with this address and Amazon page says it was delivered last week to a receptionist

After a week of not getting any news from the Portuguese office, I phoned them, and they just said that the service was discontinued, and I didn't receive any notice of that, thinking that the virtual address was still working

At the moment I have no way of getting the pacjage or return it to amazon...

So I'm asking for someone that lives on Portland to see if it's possible to pick this package and deliver it to the nearest amazon pickup place for return

The address and my name is this:

If anyone is able to help me, please DM me

PT-2006-6911 JOAO TOMAZ

14601 N BYBEE LAKE CT, STE PT-2006-6911

PORTLAND, OR 97203-6629

Thank you very much

Usually, Amazon provides a picture showing delivery. Call their customer service number up. Report the package on the app as not received. Don’t lose hope yet. You may not even need anybody to physically go there.

It's a longshot but you could call a local congregation and ask one of the brothers to check for you. JW.org has the contact information you need.

Thanks, I'm going to explore more options if no personal help is possible. But calling someone from a portland congregation could be an option, altough they woudn't have any reason to trust me 🤷‍♂️

I'm sorry I have no way to help, Joao.

I see it's a courier company at that address. Don't they return the parcel if you don't pick it in a few days?

How did you see it as a courier company? I put it in google maps and apparently there are several companies there...

what is on bybee lake court??  is it an office of some sort?  would a person go to that office on bybee court to pick it up?

On Amazon tracking page it has this information about the delivery:

"t was handed directly to a receptionist or someone at a front desk. Signed by: Dock"

I wonder why they would offer that address as a postal pickup? That is the world headquarters for OIA Global - https://www.oiaglobal.com/

It's not a PO Box or anything.. 🤔  I live about 12 miles from there but I wouldn't be able to get there to attempt to find it until next week. I trust you 😊

Meanwhile, do you think you could find any further information?

Thanks Uani, I have 30 days to return it so next week or the week after would be great!

But I won't stay seated 😉

Is it first possible to let Amazon know that you never received the package? Or if you can get more info? Perhaps whomever delivered could pick it back up?

Something received by "the dock" could be anywhere. Since the site is huge and a private company (NOT a post office), I'm wary to just go and start walking around..
