This link won't work where I am (Canada). I used a VPN to view it. But when I got to it, here's what it showed me:

I would think the moderators would allow you to quote at least part of the article in this topic. (Not the whole thing though, unless it's relatively short.) I'm curious as to what it was about.

Reporter attends Jehovah’s Witnesses’ annual Memorial service in New Brighton
.
NEW BRIGHTON, England (AP) — A Liverpool Echo reporter attended the annual Memorial of Jesus’ Death at a Kingdom Hall in New Brighton, offering an inside look at what Jehovah’s Witnesses describe as their most important yearly observance.
.
The event, held worldwide on a date corresponding to the Jewish Passover, commemorates the death of Jesus Christ. The service was described as simple and modest, with no religious symbols or altar, and centered on Bible readings, a talk, prayers and songs.
.
Attendees welcomed newcomers warmly, with a strong emphasis on community and outreach. The program focused on key teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses, including the belief that Jesus’ death serves as a ransom sacrifice for humanity and that most faithful people will live on a restored earth, while a limited number — 144,000 — will go to heaven.
.
A central feature of the Memorial included the passing of bread and wine among those present. However, only individuals who believe they have a heavenly calling partake of the emblems; most attendees pass them along without participating.
.
The reporter also observed organizational practices such as male leadership roles during meetings and the group’s emphasis on preaching and Bible education. Other beliefs noted included the refusal of blood transfusions.
.
Jehovah’s Witnesses report more than 9 million members worldwide. The movement traces its origins to the 19th century and continues to emphasize what it describes as the “good news” of God’s Kingdom through global evangelizing efforts.

The original article is much better. but I can't share it without violating the copyright .
