Seattle was host of IC in 2014. We were tied in with them to share some of the special talks but weren't involved in festivities. They are hosts again in 2027.. In general, United States are not invited to the US conventions.

Yes, that’s true for all branches I guess. You can’t be a delegate if you are from the same country. This year my area was tied-in to the IC in Warsaw but we were not invited to be volunteers. The only time I had a chance to help as a volunteer was in 2006 but the IC was closer, in Poznań (3 hour drive as opposed to 7 hour drive to Warsaw).

▪️ Historical event: March 5, 1949—An assembly was held in Lima in the Kingdom Hall of the missionary home at 256 Ramón Dagnino. We were delighted to see 224 persons present for Brother Knorr’s public talk “It Is Later than You Think!” During this visit, a large group of Witnesses went out to one of the beaches where 20 persons were baptized. ▪️ November 12–November 14, 2027;
▪️ Historical event: Chile's two documented International Assemblies were both held in Santiago—January 4—January 8, 1967 "God's Sons of Liberty;" September, 1973 "Divine Victory" (1982 Yearbook of Jehovah’s Witnesses pp. 77-80, 91-93); April 19, 2015—Circuit Assembly “Seek Peace and Pursue It,” held at the Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso Stadium in Coquimbo, Chile. A maximum attendance of 3,615 was reported, and 12 were baptized. (Jorge Molina Herrera, Flickr, April 20, 2015, documenting the April 19, 2015 assembly); October 13–October 15, 2023—Regional Convention, held at the Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso Stadium in Coquimbo, Chile. The event was described as the first large assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the city since 2019. 🟣 Ethiopia, Addis Ababa;
▪️ December 10–December 12, 2027;
▪️ Historical event: January 1–January 4, 1953—An assembly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was held over four days. Brother Henschel addressed the sixty-one in attendance by means of an interpreter, on the subject “Integrity.” A high spot of the assembly was the immersion, held in a small stream dammed up a bit to make the water deep enough for immersion. Six symbolized their dedication by baptism. (The Watchtower, June 1, 1953, p. 331, “Christianity Advances in Northern Rhodesia and Ethiopia, THROUGH KENYA TO ETHIOPIA”).
