Did this Spider-man movie have any sorcery or "magic"?

 

I ask because I never saw one of the most recent Spider-man movies with Dr.Strange, as I had heard that Dr.Strange practices sorcery/magic.

In the movies, he gets his powers from one of the infinity stones (at least that's what was explained to me).  This distinction has allowed some to view it as okay, but he is still called & considered "sorcerer supreme".

 

In the comics, it is more mystical in source, and in my opinion, cannot be excused or viewed as acceptable.

 

Personally, his presence in the movies is still uncomfortable to me, but his screentime was minor enough that I could look past it, since he is not the main subject of the Spiderman movies.  However, I refuse to watch the movies that are specifically of him, regardless of the explanation....
