"Peace is not just a desire, it is not just a call from heaven, I think it can be attained and achieved," Peres said Monday in a greeting to his guests in Jerusalem. "We have to act determinedly, honestly and courageously to achieve it. That was from the very beginning, from the Old Testament to the New Testament and throughout the scriptures."

Let's hope this is the year. 99 years of Christ rule and it would be great to see the end of this system :ecstatic: and Jehovah's name sanctified COMPLETELY for ALL time.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Genesis 6:3 - Jehovah said "My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Accordingly his days shall amount to a hundred and twenty years". The explanation being that this was not a divine 'sentence' or 'mandate' that man's lifespan would thereafter be limited to, or not to exceed, 120 years. Rather, it was God's judgment upon that 'earth full of violence' and 'I am bringing them to ruin' in 120 years.

Is it not remarkable that the 'last days' are closing in on 100 years? Could it go on for another 20? Clearly, the time-limit Jehovah placed upon the ungodly society in 2490 B.C.E. is not some kind of Da Vinci code to calculate when the Great Tribulation will begin. Still, it would seem that this system of things is on track to come to its end somewhere between 99 and 1?? years from Jesus' appointment as King.

Using a golf metaphor - that is like shooting two holes-in-one in the same round !
