These are just EXCELLENT!  The style of his art is goofy but detailed and sophisticated. I'm super-diggin' it.

 

Of course, the scenes of those poor brothers "reasoning" at the doors were exactly like the what-not-to-do demonstrations on the "Demonstrate Tactfulness When Preaching" part this week.  I'm guessing, that was the point.

I have had most of these for like...at least 10 years. I couldn't say for sure. Newspaper editorial page. Yes, very interesting take on wars and the cause and so called cure for them.

I don't have the cartoon but I remember it well.

 

Two men with brief cases dressed nicely knocking at the door.  On the other side of the door the  house holder is home sick with the flu and bored.  Next drawing shows him inviting the two men in and asking them to set on the sofa while he gets them a cup of coffee.  The next drawing shows the man pouring the cups in the kitchen while the two men set on the sofa are whishpering to each other.  "Where do we go from here?"  asks one brother to the other.  Reply?  "I don't know. I've never gotten this far."
