  1. Just did a quick search...2022 seems a bit suspect. Not sure seems a bit high.I read somewhere it had exceeded pre famine levels of 8 million for the 1st time but the figures change about a bit depending on the source. But a 1.8 million decrease for 2023 seems very wierd. As all the official figures seems to suggest a consistent population increase including North and South.Maybe 2022 was a mistake.
  2. So obviously tomorrow is the most important day in our calender,I'm just wondering what do you brothers and sisters like doing on Memorial day to make it special. The fact it falls on a Saturday this year most of us will do some ministry and obviously meditation but is there anything else you like to do either on your own or as a family?
  3. I remembered something similar at the begining of lockdown and how to care for your fellow shoppers and show care.I thought how crazy it is that people have to be reminded to show consideration, something unusual in this country
  4. My wife is 8 years older than me,she started liking me when I was about 23 but I felt I wasnt ready to marry her and I did feel the age difference was an issue at that stage, but a couple of years later we did go out and were happily married now with 2 kids, but I still had to do alot of maturing within the marriage and we have both changed in the last few years but the fundamental things that attracted me to her and vica versa are still there
  5. I got the impression from my sis in law and her source 😆that the they looked for permission(perhaps the record label)off the organisations and they didn't give it,so they went ahead anyways... Anyways it's all hearsay but it makes sense, perhaps the record label reasoned they would get away with it
  6. My sis in law sent me this not too long ago,I initially thought it was a joke but nope its legit. Apparently(obv.3rd hand info)a brother in her hall contacted a friend at world headquarters and they are aware of it...
  7. Same here Dages, love games like Anno,I'm going to check out that Kingdoms Reborn, although getting time to play, that's another story 😢
  8. I always had problem with overcrowding and noticed in my 20s my backnwisdom teeth were pushing my feont teeth forward,so i requested that they remove 1 or 2 of my back molars to make space and they refused to do so for all the above reasons you mentioned. Then a couple of years ago with very crooked front teeth and impacted back teeth they did exactly what i wanted to originally, the reason,i couldnt floss between my back teeth and they were getting worse,so i got 1 molars removed and 2 wisdom...made no difference to eating or my face...unfortunately without very expensive braces i wont get straight front teeth...a job for paradise, maybe Jehovah will give me a bigger mouth😆
  9. If the original is alot cheaper just gonfor that and see what you think👍
  10. Depends on the price but id say revised is probably a bit less complicated more streamlined.
  11. Havnt heats of it until you mentioned it,googled it,looks fun especially for kids.
  12. Love boardgames,i play with my kids at least once a month, they are 3 and 5 and the eldest loves monopoly,we have mario(nintendo)monopoly which is quite simplified.... I love strategy games,so games like Catan,Carcasonne,Agricola are pretty cool.
  13. About 60 years so if im still here when im avout a hundred they will be useful. Not sure about where you live but here in Ireland its fairly wet and Alders are virtually waterproof, can be used for pipes or boats or just to drain land and add nitrogen to the soil so "better" trees can fair better.Interestingly parts of Venice is built on top of Alder wood.
  14. Give me your junk trees sister Bea,im planting up my back fields with alders and oaks 😄
  15. That looks like a nice size annie, straight sides are handy too, easier to grow tall plants near the edge 👍
  16. Anything that prolongs the growing season here in Ireland is a plus...a brother who lives next door has just bought a huge commercial polytunnel from England, delivered for 1700 euro,I havnt a clue how hes gonna put it up by himself tough.😆 I use the same method for brassicas as well, works well 👍
  17. Yeah I kinda do a version of the lazy bed, take the top sod of turf and turn it over,I usually do that the width of my garden,do the same on the opposite side, throw on some manure and then your potatoes or vice versa, then as the potatoes grow I earth them up from the soil from the furrows, theres not as wide as traditional ones...but then I dont grow that many potatoes 😜
  18. I love the graphic novels for kids on the website,i loved the art work and it really brought it to life for me,i was quite sad when they decided not to keep doing it...over the years I collected and subsequently got rid of loads of graphic novels(conscience)...hopefully some day a brother or sister will make a biblical graphic novel(hint hint 😄)
  19. Oh i see...I'm only 33 and where I grew up in Ireland we didn't have toilets not to mind toilet roll so itll be a walk down memory lane when all the toilet rolls disappear 😁
  20. Excellent work...just the bottom frame, what is it,looks like a set of teeth?
  21. If this was in the members section I'll post a pic of me and the kids 👍
  22. That would be fun😀in the new system for sure👍first job was planting a walnut tree and then restaking and cutting out the grass from under the trees of there "woodland"....definitely FULL on
  23. So as I previously mentioned iv been pretty much outta work since Oct since my last steady gardening job came to an end...I knew Jehovah would provide something as his hand was so obvious in my getting my last job.Sure enough a sister texted and said there was a neighbour looking for a gardener, turns out it's a old r.v of my wife...anyways I got the job,2 days a week, enough to keep our heads above water. Plus side it's a beautiful garden owned by a very interesting characte,a recently retired famous wood carver.
  24. 1:Mountains or hilly place,I'd like my house to be partly built into the side of a hill overlooking forests and sea ideally....or rivers or lakes 2- I'd like to be a Forrester for the first couple of hundred years 3- I'd like to produce timber for brothers to use,and the by products like charcoal, bio char, potash etc Whiskey,I'd love to have my own distillery btw vodka and gin is an easy by product of whiskey,so I have your back loje;) 4- My woodworking skills are alot to be desired so definitely would like to improve to the point where I can make a beautiful instrument, piece of furniture etc
