JW videos with subtitles (question)

I'm trying to download videos from JW site and can't download the English language with Portuguese subtitles... weather I go to jw/pt or jw/en and weather language I choose for the subtitles, the video is with English sound and English subtitles or Portuguese sound with Portuguese subtitles...

Anyone can help here or is it just impossible?

What player are you using? Is there a setting where you can choose the subtitle language in the player? The video may come with both subtitles, the original language one and the additional language that you chose?

I don't think they do it that way.  Subtitles are normally there for the deaf or hard-of-hearing, so the subtitles would be tied in the language of the video.

In the site, when I choose a subtitle,the download link changes... I guess the mp4 file is hardcoded with the subtitle...

I was trying with the online player on the site and mxplayer on my tablet...
