It's nothing to do with the light ... It's actually how our brain computes SHADOWS (I have watched BBC doco on this subject)

You are a 'left-brainer', you need to use more of your right brain. Since the brain hemispheres control the opposite side of the body, to force your right brain to work more you need to close your right eye and plug your right ear, that forces the right side of the brain to take in information from the left eye and left ear and forces it to work more. Spend a couple of days with you right eye closed and your right ear plugged.

 

Try it now and then read this next line.
