People hope for many things

Wealth to purchase luxurious rings

Mansions, cars, that riches can bring

A seat upon a throne as a King or Queen

 

So they sweat, and they fight

With all their might

Through the crowded hustle and traffic lights

Working long hours day and night

For the gain of materials not in sight

 

Now your up in years with deteriorating health

And nothing can halt it, not even your wealth

For we all  face the hand sin has dealt

And all that's been gained goes to someone else

 

But this is not the life God intended to give

Jehovah wants us to forever live 

Where wickedness has ceased and even death is killed

Praise Jah! For Jesus Christ paying that bill

 

So until such time comes, how do we cope?

Well Jehovah has thrown us a lifesaving rope

Biblical strength by holy spirit to climb this slope

Prayers, meetings, and a paradisiac scope

To keep our eyes focused on..... "The Spiritual Hope"
