Party time

Last night (Saturday) we had a congregation party to say farewell to an elder and his wife who are going to the Bible School For Christian Couples on Tuesday. They are regular pioneers and quite young ( early 30s).

Brothers and sisters contributed food - all manner of cuisines, as we had brothers from many different countries represented. So there was English, Italian pizza, curry, samosas, and Lebanese food! Many desserts too!

We also had some good entertainment, a brother with an excellent voice, two young sisters who sang harmony, some Nepalese dancing and a children's choir. All had been auditioning for the Convention entertainment for delegates, and the choir had just heard that they had been approved!

It was a great evening with the brothers and sisters.

We just had one last weekend. Everyone brought some type of food - mostly Southern Cooking (US) since we are in the South. We had many dress in costume and play a "Who am I?" game as they gave hints to who they were.

 

The kids and some other sang.

 

We had a photo-booth.

 

Lots of fun and very encouraging.
