@ the water park today

Recommended Posts

Summer time has begun!!!

Busy, busy, busy.  Take kids to water park, pick kids up, drop kids off at Six Flags, pick kids up, movies, swimming parties at friend's,  etc.

I use to love summer, now I don't.  All I do is chauffeur my teenagers around, lol.

Our city has 5 of those smaller water parks too Jerry, think it's $5 to get in.

Have fun!!!!

It's raining and storming so hard here I could take a bar off soap outside and get clean, so wish we had some sun

Lol, it's so funny, you want sun and I want rain!!!

In Texas during the summer, we get no rain for months.  It's just sun and heat all summer long.

I had a horrifying experience at a water park when my kids were little. To this day they wear the scars from it. At the end of the water slide experience I was wearing my swim shorts much like a string of dental floss that I could not retrieve for a week! And my top? Lets just say it was an episode of girls gone wild. :-(

A young man swam over to me and handed me my top. My own kids deserted me. Acted like they did not know me all day.

That'd be the sky screamer at West Ed in the mall back home.  My aunt bought a new bathing suit and it did much the same except it shredded the rear end of the suit.

I know how mortifying this is and even though I haven't lost my top but did lose my bikini bottom to a wave.  I was looking off to the side when I SEEN them floating next to me.  It's a horrible feeling.  I haven't worn a bikini since!

As someone who is very private with her body (I won't even undress in the change rooms in front of others, nor in an open common room even if no one is around) this was just humiliating beyond belief.

Forget the kids, poor MOM!

The City has a few of these parks. Only $3 a person.

I should have played the role of the over-sensitive net witness and asked how you could spend so much on swimming when there was kingdom contributions to make......or how dare you enjoy swimming when there's preaching to do :P

All kidding aside, that's cheap like borscht!  I'd be in like skin :D
