It's sad that a group of people is threatening people over a new movie release! The self-proclaimed "the guardians of peace" have threatened people to stay away from the theaters and if their houses are close to leave!!!

From that story:

"The Interview" is a comedy in which Seth Rogen and James Franco star as television journalists involved in a CIA plot to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Its New York premiere is scheduled for Thursday at Manhattan's Landmark Sunshine. It premiered in Los Angeles last week.

The hackers said: "All the world will denounce the SONY."

This seems a ploy by the attackers to make it sound like North Korea - rather than China or some other group - was behind this attack.

Edit I found this comment on the article pretty funny:

The "Guardians of Peace" are going to unleash incredible mayhem, that's about as misnamed as Bestbuy.

Wow this movie has gotten certain "hackers" out of control or trying to control.

Copied: Highly sensitive material from the entertainment unit of Tokyo-based Sony Corp. has been leaked almost daily since the hackers broke into its computer networks last month.

This is part of what has happened with two people suing: "the company should have done more to stop the hackers from stealing nearly 50,000 social security numbers, salary details and other personal information from current and former workers."

I am sure this movie was trying to use a comedy to start getting the publics' awareness of the atrocities happening in North Korea. During 3 dictatorships now the country has brainwashed its people that they are far advanced from every other country in science and technology and that N. Korea is still at war with the U.S. and every other country at the time of WWII. N. Korea literally tells its people that everything they have from eating to anything material is from their beloved dictator, I mean Leader, who loves them like a child and cares for them. The people have no idea what is going on in the world outside of their country. They have tv with only channels that talk about their beloved dictator. They have intranet which is controlled on what materials they can read which most of them are several decades outdated. It's unbelievable what these people go through when some of them defect into China and elsewhere. They are in awe but they also go through emotional trauma that all their life they have been lied to. They miss their families and friends they grew up with, but they can't go back to the life that they had. It is like going from the 40's or 50's and that is limited in saying and transforming oneself into now without family or friends. Many in N. Korea are starving and have been for several years, they went through a terrible starvation in the 80's and 90's that killed thousands of people but still they looked to their leader for help. This is truly a generation of people who are brainwashed and have no way of knowing otherwise. so sad :(

I personally think this is smoke screen.

The people who actually did this act are probably no where NEAR North Korea and could care less about it, but are doing this to mis-direct attention away from themselves.

Well the fbi are involved now or the CIA can't remember which. They are now calling this a terror threat and blaming North Korea for it. This could get messy really fast.

Bit hypocritical if you ask me. If somebody were to make a movie mocking Mohammed's life and half the islamic world were to threaten terror and bloodbaths, then President Obama would be the first to say that sometimes, the right to freedom of speech and satire needs to be weighed against the importance of not hurting other people's feelings. Why is Kim Jong Un not protected against satire and humiliation in the same way? Why is it not okay if North Korea threatens war over such mockery?

Just saying.

What worries me is that if some crazy group sees this and thinks that someone can stop something simply by making a threat, more groups make come forward making threats about other more serious matters...

And here we go ->

A security firm has brought new evidence to the FBI that it claims points to a laid-off employee and others as the hackers behind the massive cyber-breach at Sony, even as the bureau publicly stands by its explanation that North Korea executed the attack.

Kurt Stammberger, senior vice president for market development at cyber intelligence firm Norse, told FoxNews.com that his company was turning over "raw data" to the FBI on Tuesday. He said the company also briefed the FBI for "two or three hours" on Monday during a meeting in St. Louis.

"They were very open" to the new information, Stammberger said.

Among other details, he said Norse has data about the malware samples that point to "super, super detailed insider information" that only a Sony insider would have.

Wow, Jerry, you must be desperate to be proved right if you of all people are quoting Fox news!!!  :lol1:

I know -  right??     :lol1:

I had to read the full story - just to make sure they didn't blame President Obama in it somewhere - like most of the "news" stories there do.
