Hi, Brother DiIip; I am a writer, myself, and as before, I offer my current 5 star (@ Amazon) novel for free to our brothers and sisters. I sent out signed hard copies (left over from a book signing) to anyone who responded on our site, a while back. Now, I can send free PDF. Look me up on Amazon,et al,: Pauline Oneil Purcell Wolcott. I have chosen to be non profit, rather than famous. But, now that I am retired, I may accept a paid gig in the future. Keep writing, even if you do not choose to publish at this time. I have written in every genre: illustrated (by me) children's book; short story; fact based essay; and novel. As of now, I have declined an agent's contract and a newspaper column, but have conducted writer's workshop.I consider myself a hobby writer. What genre are you writing in? Your quote is thought provoking.

Looks like there are several writers here. I write for magazines mostly. But I am working on a book project

Good, better, best never let it rest till the good gets better and the better best. No clue who this belongs to.

Also, I think from Churchill. When you're going through hell, KEEP going.

One more, CS Lewis, experience is a brutal teacher but my God do you learn. I have always thought of this phrase as an expression of heartfelt agony which only expence brings.
