Canine ??? keep dogging me

My big girl doggie, Snow, saw the vet today. She has lost over 2 lbs and has a couple or three more to go.  It's, again, time for me to pick heartworm meds for her (33lbs) and BabyGirl (19 lbs).  Of course, I am also pursuing  the ongoing quest for flea protection. There is a topical that is said to treat both heartworm and flea probs. Any suggestions? I try to have a span between flea and heartworm meds. 

 

Baby Girl had a near death experience the first and only day she tried Seresto. The heart/ flea combo is topical and BabyGirl has lots of allergies.

 

p.s. The weather has been better and I was able to increase Dog-Walk time tonight. My back is still on the mend, so I need to pace my/our progress. Tomorrow night is expected to present torrential storms; no chance of me overdoing it then.

We use Heartgard Plus for heart worm. Our groomer of whom is also is a breeder does not recommend the heart/flee combo.

diatomaceous earth

I ordered 3 months of Heartgard plus for each dog. I also have diatomaceous earth, but do not know how to use it for anything. Thanks, p

they can eat it for worms and such... mix with food.. or spinkle it around where flees might be outside or inside.. supposedly kills them.
