The Avalanches - Because I'm Me

(Just would like to warn, that according to the " offical lyrics" written down, there is one bad word at the very end of the song, however it's not sang in this video version of the song, I've also listened over and over closely to make sure).

What's cool about this is that the chourus is actually sampled from an old acapella song, "Why Can’t I Get It Too” by the Six Boys of Trouble in 1959, so it's not actually the boy singing in the video, but the voice of an old track placed into this song.

Wow, a Australian hip hop group. I’m really diggin’ this. That’s gonna be a hard act to follow. I’m gonna have to step my game up lol. The production of this song reminds me of the producer 9th wonder when he was in the rap group little brother. Hip hop is my favorite type of music but I had to let it go because most hip hop artists come from the gutter and it’s reflected in their music.

Is it me or does that boy look like Michael Jackson when he was a kid at the 0:47 mark?

Another day in paradise - Phil Collins

I think I posted that song, but no matter, it’s worth 2 post, lol.  I can’t keep track of it all.

Music is eternal I think. Do you think there will ever come a time when we’ve written every song possible?  :o

Yes, I knew you had posted a Phil Collins song or two but wasn’t sure if that was one of them. Yes, with any language you are limited with words. After a while every word that can rhyme with another is used and people start to run out of ideas with songs. That’s why I’ve always thought song writers are gonna love it when we all speak one language in the new world. New words to rhyme!
