I always felt that pizza was a vegetable, but now I have the full backing of the federal government (and you know how important that is :lol1: )

Congress wants to keep pizza and french fries on school lunch lines, fighting back against an Obama administration proposal to make school lunches healthier.

The final version of a spending bill released late Monday would unravel school lunch standards the Agriculture Department proposed earlier this year, which included limiting the use of potatoes on the lunch line and delaying limits on sodium and delaying a requirement to boost whole grains.

The bill also would allow tomato paste on pizzas to be counted as a vegetable, as it is now. USDA had wanted to prevent that.

When you can't even agree on pizza - what chance do you have of agreeing to make REAL changes? NONE! It is a good thing that God's Kingdom is on its ways like a rock cut out of a mountain ready to crush this crazy system out of existence.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Certainly it is a vegetable! It is a totally well balanced meal. Protein, starch, vegetables all together on one plate. And it's portable too! What can be better than that. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack! The perfect food.

It MUST be a vegetable! Or at the very least vegetarian. The dough if from wheat - a plant! The sauce is from tomato - veggie/fruit! And you have it with beer - made from hops! It's a vegetarian dinner for sure!! >:D<

And it you put meat on it that's OK. Don't all the animals used for pizza topping - beef, pork - eat a vegetarian diet??

Just add a few carrots and corn as toppings to compliment the tomato sauce. LOL! Of course if they wanted to really make it healthy, smother it with anchovies. :scared:

ewww gross... I can just see the reaction that little kids would have.. mine would freak out..lol and I would most definately be hearing about it..
