STOP LEAVING KIDS AND PETS IN CARS! If you do not like a hot car why leave your pet or kids in there? Every year we hear of this happening. Leave your pets home. Why should they suffer that when your able to stop it from happening? Please share this will all your friends and family! Today a man was charged for leaving his dog in the car whole he went into a place for lunch. The dog was in the car for over and hour. It reaches 65 C inside the car. That is 145 F. How does that make any sense at all? Please copy and paste to your social media sites.

Sorry the poor dog was in the car over 2 hours. What a dirt bag. They should make him sit in that car that long and see how he likes it.

In Oregon it is legal for a passerby to break a car window to rescue a pet or child in distress. For ones own protection it is advisable to take pictures and call police beforehand. Fine line between being charged with destruction of property and aiding a pet in distress. If windows are down some and the pet has water, caution before breaking glass is warranted. We have a battery operated fan as well as Med-cold packs we put around our dog if we need to leave him in a car with outside temp 70 or above for more than a few minutes. It can be 90° outside and when we check on him 10 min. later he will be shivering.

We cannot incite if we are not in sight.___Heb.10:24,25

Windows have to be all the way down to prevent the car for getting too hot. In this extreme heat it is very dangerous. Stores around here have started putting signs up to bring dogs into the store. Went into lowes the other day and brought my sisters dog in. They have a sign no pets. I am going to ask for that to be changed.

Humidex values reaching 43 are expected.

The extreme heat event will continue. This will be the most significant heat event in the past few years.

A cold front is forecast to pass through southern Ontario this afternoon ushering in a slightly cooler and less humid air mass. However, daytime highs are still expected in the low thirties in the next 2 days and overnight low temperatures in the high teens, providing some relief from the extreme heat of the weekend.

The high heat and humidity could return on Wednesday. Daytime highs again will be near mid thirties with humidex near mid forties. Overnight low temperatures are expected to be in the low twenties, except high teens in some rural areas, providing little or no relief from the heat.

A cool down is expected by Friday with the passage of a cold front.

Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.

I do not understand why people keep doing this. What reason do they have after so many children die this way. It's frequently in the news so everyone should know.

As far as the animals go, I don't understand that either. Why do people drive around with pets only to do this? Why can't they just leave them at home?

Tell me about it. The poor dog is ok but what possible reason do they have to do that? none. Its pure laziness. Leave them home or take them in with you. Pure stupidity.
