Have been listening to Jazz again, a lot, as I work in the garden. It's amazing how I can remember the words to some songs I learned back in the 70's. Even if I don't hear it for months or years.

Then remembering the advice in yesterday's WT for the young to set goals I thought I'm not young but I can do this.

I really love singing, I love the Kingdom Songs and if I lost everything I own, the one thing I couldn't lose is my ability to praise Jehovah by singing his songs. So learning all the songs and lyrics is my new goal. That and increasing my service to 2 days a week instead of 1.

Please share your goals.

My first goal is to wake up every morning. I hope to keep that goal for a long time.

I am also trying to do more for LDC. I recently talked to one of the LDC Safety brothers and he was interested in my industrial background, so my goal is to find out what I need to learn to be more useful on LDC projects and possibly do Safety for LDC.

As to the "getting up in the morning" words of wisdom, I remember my pilot friends saying that the old "truism" of, "Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing" is only part of the story.  The whole thought is, "Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing, but if you can reuse the aircraft it is a 'Great' landing."

In our case, any day I can get up is a good day, but if I can be useful after that, it is a 'Great' day.  Keep pushing the LDC goal, Br. Richard...😉
