Estonia imposes EU entry ban on Russian TV journalists over biased JW reports

The Estonian Interior Ministry has banned two Russian state TV journalists from entering the Schengen zone for five years over their reports "ridiculing a religious organisation and inciting hatred towards it". 

 

It looks like the world is beginning to wake up to the anti-JW propaganda in Russia. 

 

VGTRK employees were deprived of Schengen visas over TV reports about Jehovah's Witnesses

Thank you for the insightful news article. Quite amazed that some official authority still considers freedom of religion to such a degree! Looks like these individuals went to Russian-language meetings in Finland and Estonia and used a hidden camera for their footage?

 

Pretty radical move by the Estonian authorities, which if true, means that these journalists can't enter ANY Schengen country--meaning most of Europe! Then again, considering the hostility toward Russia in some of the former Soviet countries; many wanting desperately to be part of the West, as in European Union, NATO etc., I don't wonder that this happened in a country such as Estonia.

Yes, they went to a congregation in Estonia and used a hidden camera. I think they then used it in their TV reports twisting the facts and ridiculing our brothers.

 

I have seen Russian state TV reports about us. They are unbelievably full of lies. I was, in fact, thinking of translating two or three and posting them here for brothers to see. The propaganda is just jaw dropping.
