The article doesn’t say what religion but one could assume I guess.

A man was arrested on suspicion of malicious harassment Tuesday after he was accused of tipping over and damaging a cart that contained religious brochures in Port Angeles, police said.

Officers responded to a report that a man had damaged the cart at Fountain Square in downtown Port Angeles. An investigation revealed that the cart contained religious brochures that were being handed out to people who might be interested.

Police quickly located the 71-year-old suspect, who told officers that the people handing out the pamphlets were "pagans and heathens, and that they are a false religion," according to a press release from the department.

The man was booked into jail on suspicion of malicious harassment, a felony.

Port Angeles nice place but...

Wow, we stayed overnight in Port Angeles while visiting Olympic National Park last Oct.  Didn't see any Angels arrive at port but we had a good time anyway.  Regarding the above mentioned incident, it is rather surprising to see such violence is such a nice town.

We cannot incite if we are not in sight.___Heb.10:24,25

Port Angeles is situated in a lovely part of North West. In the state of Washington, near Seattle. In 1791 the harbour was entered by Spanish explorer Francisco de Eliza, who named it Puerto de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles (Port of Our Lady of the Angels) The city is also the location of the headquarters of Olympic National Park, which encompasses most of the Olympic Mountains.

A man kicked our cart the other day.  I'll spare you the language he used.  The sister I was with threatened to call the police is it happened again.  Another time a man  tried to pick it up and threatened to throw it in the road if we didn't move.  We moved.  Once a man threw a bucket of water over the cart (not mine) .... no matter, we'll keep going until the Lord says well done!
