Magazine Front Covers on JW.org

While searching for pictures from our JW.org website, I noticed that the past issues of Watchtower and Awake! in Hiligaynon language (spoken in central Philippines) include front covers for most issues.

 

Look at this one from 2000 (Watchtower only):

This is not done in English or apparently in any other language on the site. Hopefully it will also be done on them because I love seeing our eye-catching magazine covers.

And they have used scans of the covers ( and some are not even straight, which looks very unprofessional for jw.org).

Interesting development.  May extend to other languages.  Hoping for PDF's as well for the older issues.

What's not done? The English ones have always had front covers too.

Only from September 2010, when the digital edition started. Older magazines don't have their covers.

Yes it is strange to see the aspect. It was surely an automated system that didn't work well. They will fix it, I'm sure

 

I also think we'll receive pdf's of older wt's because they're available on the net. The slave, apparently, is putting everything that is available on the net, available on jw.org. So that no one goes searching and end up on apostate sites. It started with the KM's, than OD book, then wol with everything since the 50's available....

It is an unfolding story.  Previously,  the PDF scanned copies (including pictures and graphs) were 2012 and later.  Now we have some back to 2010.  When I looked just now, in 2010 there were some covers but not all. Some of the 2010 versions had pictures inside the articles but another article in the same magazine just showed a note at the bottom of the page that said "picture on page 9" or something like that.

 

More updates will be wonderful.
