What is the good points for god allows suffering?

Why i am asking this question because There was an incident today. My neighbor's boyfriend got a phone from his dad's mobile. One person on the phone says that your father had a accident. The boy is afraid and goes in search of his father. But the boy sees that his father is coming. He runs away and hugs the father and He asks if you had an accident. But his dad tells to he there was no accident. I did this to know that you love me. That's why I phoned someone else.

One thing is confusing to me. Jehovah is not lying But he lets the temptation to know that we are in love with jehovah.

I have a question : Your daddy will check to see if you love your dad?

What is the good points for god allows suffering?

Thank Jehovah that his time limit for letting man prove that he can rule himself is over soon. It has produced so much suffering, despite good intentions sometimes. We are no different from anyone else. We suffer because of Adam, and sometimes because of our own bad choices. Jehovah sometimes allows us to face trials, but he also carries us through them when we cannot do so alone. It can become an opportunity for us to show our loyalty to him, but he doesn’t test us with evil things. (James 1:13) Instead, he has promised that it will all soon be over.

HI Brother Raja,

That situation you mentioned with the Dad is confusing because Jehovah does not act like that Dad. Jehovah does not cause us to suffer to see if we love him. In fact, the Dad who tricked his son in order to see if his son loved him is not even what most parents would do! :o

The issue of why God permits suffering is 1 of most important issues for us to fully understand so that we are not confused by our Father actions and this causes us to not feel close to Him.  Brother Raja, so that you make keep drawing closer to Jehovah and not be confused by our Father's allowing us/causing us to suffer, do you think you would benefit from doing a personal study project on this issue? For example, you could research to find scriptures and articles that discuss whether Jehovah causes us to suffer in order to see how much we love him? You can even share what you learn with us so that we may benefit also. And if you would like some help with your study project, myself and others would be glad to help :)

Here is a good example of why studying this issue is very important.

Today, many wonder how a good and loving God can seemingly remain passive in the face of so much suffering and injustice.
Confronted with the reality of famine, war, sickness, and death, many reject outright the notion of a Creator who cares about mankind. One atheistic philosopher observed: “Nothing can excuse God for allowing the suffering of a child, . . . unless, of course, he does not exist.”

One reasoning point is the challenges Satan made to Jehovah in the assembly of angels who were listening in Job chapters 1 & 2.

Ask: If Jehovah then destroyed Satan would he have answered the challenge that, in effect, Satan or man himself could rule better than God?

Or would Jehovah have simply proved he was more powerful?

If that had happened, the angels would never have known the answer to the challenge.

They may have stayed obedient for fear of losing their lives.

But they would not have been obedient because of loyal love (Matthew 22:37-40 - the greatest commandment).

Simply - many would obey simply because of fear instead of out of love.

And yet, you are never alone my brother. Not only do you have an 8 million plus family of brothers and sisters ready to support you, but we single worshippers definitely have an extra measure of help from Jehovah. Yes, we can feel lonely at times, especially since our family isn’t worshipping with us, and be indifferent or opposed. But that’s why Jehovah counts you as precious for continuing to serve him alone. 2 Chron 6:30

My dear brothers and sisters, i know about you all love and also know about 8 million plus family of brothers and sisters ready to support me. If I get sad of being in the kingdom hall,  there's a lot else out there to hold me back. But the people in my house are not the ones who hold me back. They are very depressing to me. The time we have at home is much more than the time we are in the kingdom hall.I couldn't cope. I feel so lonely

My friend and I planned to do the regular pioneer. We both finished our studies together. Now he's doing the regular pioneer. Because his dad is helping him. I have a desire to do the regular pioneer but there is nothing I can do. There is no one in my family to help me.

I understand a bit how this feels. It can be truly depressing. The way I cope is to try to look at things the way Jehovah does. Can you keep the goal of pioneering before you while you do as much as you can in the field and in the congregation? Talk to others who have been in a similar situation to you. How did they cope? Elders can help with ideas too. Please don’t despair, cause Jehovah sees your heart and will always help you, despite not having family to back you.

Hi Brother Raja ~ You are never alone! I would like to share how Jehovah helped me when I was new to my international family. I was an 18 year old young girl who grew up in an Episcopalian "middle class" family in the suburb of Washington D.C.. I always wanted to know who God is and why we are here. After learning the answers to these questions from a Pioneer sister who contacted me at my parents' house, I progressed to baptism in 1965. My desire was to pioneer..My parents were not supportive, so I prayed in ernest to Jehovah..I had never had a job, no transportation, no money..but I trusted Jehovah and kept praying...Now keep in mind that I am a female..It was not easy to strike out on my own..easier for a male..So what happened? First, Jehovah answered my prayer for transportation. I was looking for a bicycle. A former girl friend heard about my search and brought a brand new Bike to my parents' house..free!!

Then a family in the congregation heard I needed a place to live, and offered me their cellar..yes cellar..concrete floor, toilet, laundry sink, shower stall. I was able to bring a rollaway bed, card table, and my bicycle..I only had $5 so I bought rice and orange juice to last 2 weeks until my first pay check at the job Jehovah provided me..opening mail at an insurance company 7am to 11am 4 days a week! I rode my bike to work, and then to a territory I took out..worked all 3 floors bed to bed in "the Home for Incurables" and got 2 Bible Studies! I worked the bus stop line offering magazines! I worked door to door with the pioneer sister who studied with me, witnessed informally often, wrote letters...I, with Jehovah's help, "vacation pioneered" for 6 months, then regular pioneered for 4 years, when Jehovah provided me my husband for now, 49 years..I am in the truth for 54 years, my husband, 55 years..all because Jehovah hears and answers prayers! Much courage is needed, and love for Jehovah and people..but I know for sure that Jehovah will help you and all who pray to him believing he will answer. Keep showing courage by working toward your goal!😀

I have suffered much pain over the years...as we all have, but Jesus said we would..He is pleased when we give him an answer to Satan's challenge! What greater joy is there than making the Almighty Creator of the Universe happy! Wow! (Mt. 16:24, Ps. 3:4, 1 Tim. 1:11)

I hope my experience will help you..I will pray for you!😌

Arumuga, I'm sorry you are in that situation. It's great that you have the goal to pioneer, but Jehovah understands not everybody can be a pioneer. You need to work to support your family. Doing that is obeying Jehovah too. :)

As this week's Watchtower study says, don't lose hope with your family. Just keep giving a good witness by the way you behave and the way you treat them. You never know what can touch their heart.

Maybe in the future things will change and you will be able to pioneer. And even if that never happens in this system, surely you will have 1000 years in the new world to teach the resurrected. :)

Brother Raja..I just looked up your location (according to your profile) and it looks like you are in a rural area..Is that accurate, or are you closer to a town or city? I can see many challenges you have..I see Hindu Temples and a Mosque on the map, as well. I see where there are 2 Kingdom Halls..

I can see by your location that you are not too far from populated areas. That is good..many opportunities to witness. We witness informally inside large stores and use contact cards to direct people to our website..In stores you can be discrete, speak to a fellow shopper to see if they are friendly, and proceed with a brief conversation. Also, you can make return visits on employees.😊

Most of the residents of India belong to Hinduism. There are 30 millions of gods according to Hinduism. But they do not accept only the God of the Bible and the God of the Quran. More and more people are opposing. population in india is 1.33 billion people. Jehovah witnesses population in india is more than 50 thousand. According to 2018 Service report one publisher in india need witness to more than 27 thousand.

Quite a challenge living in an area I imagine where people worship different gods altogether. At the very least over here we have the advantage that most relgious people at least have a "Christian" or biblical foundation or outlook.

I imagine in places like India, it's a similar experience for what it was like for the early Christians preaching about Jehovah when they had things like Greek gods and Roman gods to contend with. It was easier for them as they could show people miracles to convince people. Where later in places like Britiain and other European places, the beleifs of the druids, Celtic gods, Norse gods, etc, died out with the Roman and Saxon invasions (who were "Christianised" at the time), and what tradtions remained were adopted by Christendom, as opposed to them taking a stand for "pure" Christian worship.

Today though, in places where other gods are wotshipped, we don't have such advantages or established culture or miracles.

Yes..that is why featuring JW org with videos and music and books "in your language" .. also "answers to life's big questions" is something of interest to many people. We let Jehovah and Jesus direct us to honest hearted ones by praying..also, those who accept a contact card..we rely on the angels to follow up on good hearted ones. Perhaps someone will be directed to their home, or someone at work will further the interest. The website is the key. Those with children are concerned about their future and the violence in society. One way I approach a mother with children in a store is, perhaps in the checkout line.."Your child is very well behaved"..they thank me for the observation..Then I say "many parents express their concern for the safety of their families because of"...(whatever the concerns are where you live).."This free website is designed to help families..there are wholesome videos and activities for children you can download free in many languages..even sign language!"..Just a sample of how we have successfully reached many families.:D

My pain is increasing in other ways.

My family has hurt me before. But now my brothers are persecuting me. He hurts me by telling someone else about the things I said and not the things I said. My pain is only increasing and not less

I am sorry for your pain and persecution! We expect this because Satan knows he only has a short time left to try to cause us to give up! When my parents persecuted me, I said "I am sorry you feel that way!" At the same time, I tried to show kindness by helping around the home..Eventually, after my mother died, my husband and I moved closer to my father to help him in his old age..One day he said "I didn't know you had so much love"..It took 20 years for him to see that my motive was love

..be patient...pray pray pray..I would let Jehovah carry your burden..focus on finding people who want to know Jehovah..that will increase your joy!💖
