Awesome. Thank you. I was talking to a young brother about today’s text and he was commenting on Hebrews 6:10, and I instantly thought back to this talk.

Here is a brief outline of the talk for anyone interested:

Ephesians 5:1 - “become imitators of God”

Four Ways Jehovah Uses His Memory

1. Hebrews 6:10 - He remembers our love for Him and our hard work in behalf of Kingdom interests. We want to remember His love and hard work in our behalf, and by extension the love and hard work of others.
2. Luke 20:38 - He never forgets faithful ones who have died. We don’t want to forget them either. By means of the Bible and life stories we can remember them and learn from them.
3. Joshua 21:45 - He always remembers His promises and fulfills them. We want to do the same.
4. Isaiah 43:25 - He chooses not to remember - completely forgets - our forgiven sins. We want to work hard to do the same.

Brother Lett finished by encouraging the students to find additional aspects of Jehovah’s use of memory we can imitate. He gave the example of Psalm 103:14 - He remembers that we are dust. How can we imitate Jehovah’s memory there?

So... curious if anyone has any input on additional ways Jehovah uses His memory that we can imitate?!?!
