listening to publications

Recommended Posts

I really enjoy listening to the Watch Tower audio publications. But I don't use JW Library. Instead, I download the files from jw.org and then upload them in iBooks because this way it saves where I left off and I can playback 15 seconds if I need to re-hear something. JW Library doesn't have these features. It really made it nice to listen to the regional convention w/audio descriptions from start to finish. Does anyone else use these features or am I just unique. 😏

Perhaps I've misunderstood your message, but in JW if you wish to carry on where you left off, simply tap on the word where you wish to restart and there you have the options to play where you finished (it's the triangle), you can also bookmark the text.

Happy listening

I believe the brother was talking about mp3 for No. 1 2021 The Watchtower, not mp3 for January 2021 The Watchtower—Study Edition, which isn’t available:

I’m sure the English recording will be available quite soon. It is already available in other languages.

How are you getting the mp3 files into the Books app?

I download the MP3’s and upload them to iTunes. Once uploaded, I change the format from Music to Audiobook and then sync my iPhone. I know, that’s tedious, but it’s the only way.

What about using Podcaster? That is how I listen to most of the magazines on my iPhone.

Of course they are only available for certain amount of time, and my method is of no help for other publications than magazines.
