We All Are Channels

Recommended Posts

I think friends go overboard at times when they say Jehovah is using the Faithful Slave as the only channel. Yes, he is using them to reach others. Yet, there are more channels

1. Circuit Overseers are a channel to the circuit.

2. Elders are a channel to their local congregations.

3. Older ones are a channel regarding with their wisdom and knowledge to their congregations

4. Parents are a channel to their children

5. We all are channels when telling others about the Good News.

Thanks Dusty, I think you mean that each of them are part of the organization that channels information to the rest of the organization.

Just like Moses that was Jehovah's channel of communication, he gave instructions to the older men that passed that information to the family heads. So Moses was Jehovah's channel of communication and it was distributed just like today. So the FDS is the only channel that Jehovah is using today and they use older men and family heads to distribute the information from Jehovah.

CAUTION: The comments above may contain personal opinion, speculation, inaccurate information, sarcasm, wit, satire or humor, let the reader use discernment...:D

And where do they get all information from? From themselves, directly from Jehovah or FDS
Spiritual food is “cooked” in the kitchen (FDS) then waiters (All above) serve or distribute that food.
There is only one channel, which is FDS - the rest of us are beneficiaries of that channel, to apply definition of “channel” to all (stated in your opening comment) is a bit of stretch... don’t you think?

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

The channel, spoken of by Jesus,  is the Faithful steward or slave. Period. We are all the domestics being fed by that channel. This particular wording is only to be in this context. So there is only one channel. However, the word itself, like many words in many languages, can have other applications. But spiritually,  Jesus was quite clear, one approved channel would be responsible for feeding his congregation of domestics. The domestics are doing as they aught when they  play their part within that channel to follow direction: be teachers, preachers etc.

From numerous meeting with the CO and meeting with the elders I am told that appointed men are the "conduit" of the (channel) faithful and discreet slave.

As already been said there is one official channel that Jehovah is using.

"there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·lijah?" To this (Elijah) he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies"- 1 Kings 19:9, 10 Reference Bible

Ecclesiastes 7:21 "..., do not give your heart to all the words that people may speak," - Reference Bible

If the circuit overseer dispenses ‘food’ that does not come from the Slave, the only proper channel, we will not accept it. Similarly with elders and parents.
