Seven men marry seven wives riddle

Recommended Posts

If each of the 7 men has 7 wives, would that make 49 wives?

If each of them has 7 children, would that be 49 times each wife and husband, or each couple ? Add the couples...

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

Your guess is as good as mine..

My guess was 51, based on three generations and family marriage. I didn't include any bigomy.

It was worded in such a way that could be taken in so many directions..probably making something simple, complicated..

Even factoring in the time period and place this happened would change the answer.

Hope we're put out of our misery soon...😄

7 Men + 7 Women =14 People

2 - Each man has 7 children so this means

49 Children.

Each wife has 7 children = 49

49+49 = 98 Children

98 Children + 14 parents = 112..

So the number of people are 112

Due to the sentence structure ... the statement that "each man and each wife" can be taken that each couple has "1" child.

7 men

7 wives

7 children

___

21 people

We need @TRUTH04 to come back and check the math for the various scenarios and let us know what the answer really is.

I think we could make this up as we go along, and come up with many different answers..maybeThat's the answer..

We could just follow the principle in Lev. 25:8

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

Can you explain that?

I prefer to it being call "innovative" ...

Besides, I looked for the video since I already knew it could be explained this way - not the first time I have heard this riddle.
