GENEVA (23 March 2021) – United Nations human rights experts said today digitalisation and the COVID-19 pandemic had  facilitated a new wave of stigma, racism, xenophobia and hate targeting minorities and those considered “others”, often promoted by authorities themselves, either directly or indirectly.  Recalling the consensus achieved since the 24 March 2011 adoption of a Human Rights Council resolution on combating intolerance, they said in the following statement that States must ensure pluralism and stamp out negative stereotyping:

Interesting statement coming from the organization that the Bible, itself, says will play and instrumental part in destroying false religion.
I do wonder, if the Covid situation might clear  up soon and give false religion a false sense of security not long before its destroyed.
It does feel, like I said in another thread, like the times when the Romans were surrounding Jerusalem, before they left, giving the inhabitants time to flee to the mountains.
The UN might start saying to Babylon "Hey, we're on your side here," right before pouncing and destroying it with fire. You can see, how it would be something no one will have expected.

It´s quite possible that after the pandemic end, UN states the World is safe again. This is very probable. WHO confirms world is safe. If World peace conditions are under weak control, it´s possible that a security and PEACE as well, may be declared. We just have to wait and see.

24 ceasefires were conducted ever since this pandemic started...

If, just if, Jehovah allows it, then BTG can be destroyed.

We just have to keep on the watch, because that can happen...

Only if a declaration of peace and security IS  followed by BTG destruction we can surely say "This is IT" - Not before!

Well, I hope they will realize that they should support true Christians, Jehovah's servants and to reduce the impact of apostates, KoN and ITS allies etc. Only then these statements would be maybe a little bit useful ...everything else is rubbish as always. Lots of words, little deeds like we say in Finland. The scarlet-colored beast runs too fast to see around. Quite embarrassing for a creature with seven heads. 😁

No matter how the wind howls the mountain cannot bow to it.

Brother Kimi, UN wont have a single clue about who´s the true worshipers and who´s BTG worshipers.

When UN destroys BTG Jehovah will protect us for a while until Gog´s attack.

I believe, and it´s my idea only, that as long as we worship indoors we may escape more easily from UN to BTG attack... So I dont think we ever resume to KH ever again. But... attention, please, it´s my opinion. just that.

No basis on anything.

Only Jehovah knows how it´s going to happen. It will be most likely in a fabulous way nobody expects!! and with Style, like brother Geoffrey once said 😉

Governments in more than 80% of the represented countries harassed religious groups in some way, though use of force was less common, a new Pew study found.

On Oct. 4, the World Jewish Congress and the Muslim World League issued a historic joint statement before the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva, pledging an interfaith commitment to promoting and protecting human rights for all. It marked the first time a coordinated statement was presented by Jewish and Muslim representative groups before a U.N. body.

Yesterday religion freedom was discussed and 2 resolutions adopted to protect people´s believes:

source: https://www.un.org/press/en/2021/gashc4335.doc.htm - UN 3rd committee

Committee took up the draft resolution titled, “Freedom of religion or belief” (document A/76/C.3/36), introduced by the representative of Slovenia, who said that protecting all individuals from discrimination on these grounds is more important than ever.  The free exercise of religion promotes mutual understanding, durable peace and security.  Noting that the draft draws attention to the rise of violent extremism throughout the world, she said it also references the right to not believe or to change beliefs.

The Committee then approved draft resolution “L.36” without a vote.

By the text, the General Assembly would strongly condemn violence and acts of terrorism targeting persons belonging to religious minorities on the basis of or in the name of religion or belief.  It would also urge States to step up their efforts to protect and promote freedom of thought, conscience and religion or belief, and to ensure that constitutional and legislative systems provide effective guarantees of these freedoms to all without distinction.  They would do so by providing access to justice ‑ including by facilitating legal assistance and remedies in cases where the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion or belief or the right to freely choose and practice one’s religion or belief is violated.

The Committee next took up the draft resolution titled, “Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping, stigmatization, discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against persons, based on religion or belief” (document A/C.3/76/L.48).

The representative of Egypt expressed concern over the negative profiling of persons based on their religion or belief, noting that the draft calls on all States to foster an environment of religious tolerance, peace and respect.

The Committee then approved “L.48” without a vote, by which the Assembly would call on States to ensure that public functionaries, in the conduct of their public duties, do not discriminate against individuals on the basis of religion or belief.  It would call on them to foster religious freedom and pluralism by promoting the ability of all religious community members to manifest their religion and to contribute openly and equally to society.  Greater efforts are needed to foster a global dialogue on promoting a culture of tolerance and peace at all levels, based on respect for human rights and diversity of religions and beliefs.
