Haha I've always loved a good-hearted JW joke. I heard one about the US finding Bin-laden on a late night show. The host said the US would have long found Bin-laden if they went "cave to cave" like a Jehovah's Witness.

Isn't it interesting how it's okay to make fun (even good hearted) jokes about us... but if you did it with any other religon, or minority group, there'd be an outcry.

I think part of the reason for that is because we as an organization have really thick skin so jokes basically don't offend us and we don't make a fuss about it. Secondly, we are "unorthodox" so the world couldn't give less of a rip about our feelings.

I just love it any time the media or a celebrity mention Jehovah's name. They are witnessing whether they know it or not.

Really? I’ve heard jokes told about a lot of other “Christian” religions, including Mormons or fundamentalists (usually about polygamy or modesty). That’s pretty common here in the states I think. But I agree people don’t joke much anymore about other religious backgrounds, like Muslim or Jewish.
