A few years ago we had a manuscript talk in our congregation that mentioned exactly this, the potential for the gulf stream to collapse, and the consequences if it does.

This is really interesting, the gulf stream comes right up over us here in Ireland and literally effects our daily weather... sometimes it moves,  gets blocked or stays where it should be which is directly over us.

 

I don't recall that transcript for the talk at all, can you remember what it was called?

Don't remember the talk, however that is the premise of several movies, some several years ago.

Who was the souce of the manuscript? Manuscript talks from the WHQ that are given in a congregation are very rare nowadays. At one time all special talks were manuscripts but that is no longer the case. If it is important enough to put out manuscript then typically all congregations get the same talk at about the same time. Usually a might message theme.

No point in asking me! 😁 I only remember that point about possible effects to things like the gulf stream being mentioned as a part of what we might see in the last days as we see the ruination of the earth. I can't remember exactly how long ago either, just that we'd been away on holiday, so I'm not a great source of information here 😂

Greenland is currently in a major melting event for about a week or two, although not as big as 2019, its still an event. Contributing to this Gulf Stream collapse.

Gulf stream collapse would be catastrophic. Harsh winters, destroyed ocean life, weaker oxygen production...
