Your Avatar - Real picture or not?

My picture is real. I took it in January 2002 in Vegas coming back from a meeting. KH was just down the street from airport.

I am always up in the air but seem to be stuck on a lamp post thus not shinning too brightly now days and not going any where.

I chose a real picture for my avatar although I can´t stand my own face on pictures.

From all the pictures that have been taken of me in my whole life, I maybe liked 10 or so. Still, since I like seeing what other users look like, I thought that´s just fair this way (according to the golden rule ).

 

But I do respect the fact the some people migtht not want to show pictures of themselves. I would be very happy if they changed their mind, but I would never try to urge them.

I agree with your golden rule statement. 

 

P.s.  Regarding some previous posts; I think it's important to note that there is a difference between humility and self-deprecation.  I am sad to hear my brothers and sisters insult their appearance.  Jehovah made you all and I know when He looks at you, He sees you as beautiful!  I believe we are supposed to try to see things the way Jehovah does.  Therefore, to me, you are all beautiful and precious beyond words. ❤️❤️❤️

I was going to replace it with one of me. I have one too few brain cells to figure it out!
