With all these findings going on, does any scientists ever wondered that something was going on in the universe before the so called big bang?

ย I was determined to watch the telescope go into space. I knew it will make history and discovering news things too. Plus, I was watching every day how it was doing while making its final destination. Just awesome.ย
ย

ย It is discovering things that Jehovah had created beyond we can image and he making fools of those who do not acknowledge him too. More to come.
ย

ย Plus, ย I hope soon they pinpoint a certain area for a while a take more pictures in order to go farther back in time. Who knows, they might have and not reviling to us because ย their theories has been dumped by Jehovah.

Hubble Views Cosmic Dust Lanesn
NASA Hubble Mission Team

Goddard Space Flight Center

MAY 17, 2024

Featured in this new image from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope is a nearly edge-on view of the lenticular galaxy NGC 4753. Lenticular galaxies have an elliptical shape and ill-defined spiral arms.

This image is the object's sharpest view to date, showcasing Hubbleโ€™s incredible resolving power and ability to reveal complex dust structures. NGC 4753 resides around 60 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Virgo and was first discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1784. It is a member of the NGC 4753 Group of galaxies within the Virgo II Cloud, which comprises roughly 100 galaxies and galaxy clusters.

The Big Bang is considered the starting point of the universe. It marks the beginning of time and space as we know it. There was nothing before the Big Bang, that scientist can discover...at least in terms of their current understanding of physics (Theyโ€™ve already determined itโ€™s not God).

ย

Current scientific understanding, based on observations and models, suggests that galaxies started to form a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has indeed found very early galaxies, but they still formed after the Big Bang.

ย

If we find galaxies that formed a few hundred million years after the Big Bang, it does not mean they existed before it. These findings fit within the expected timeline of current understanding of the cosmo.

There is no scientific evidence at all suggesting any material thing existed "before" the Big Bang because "before" in this context has no meaning. The creation of the universe was the โ€œbeginningโ€ of space time and matter.ย

So, ย while JWST has found early galaxies, they still fit into the timeline that began with the Big Bang. ย What they are learning is how these stars and galaxies form....they had to adjust that understanding for sure. Mainstream science still feels there was a "big bangโ€.ย

ย

What happen before that is a complete mystery to them....even though some like to speculate.ย

ย

ย There are factors:

ย

1. There was no so called Big Bang.

ย

2. If it took 290 million light years for the light from this galaxy to reach us. Then I would assume it would took time for this galaxy and other early galaxies they have discovered to form before the Big Bang.

ย

3. Since we can not see over the horizon, is the other universes out there?

ย

4. This discovery was made a year ago. What are they discovering now?

ย

More is yet to learn while Jehovah laughing at this.ย

ย

My 2 cents.

Glen, from an atheist view the Big Bang theory is currently the best explanation for the origin of the universe based on a vast amount of scientific evidence, including the cosmic microwave background radiation and the expansion of the universe. It explains how the universe evolved from a hot, dense state to what we see today.

ย

This does not necessarily contradict our beliefs, but it actually supports the fact that the universe did indeed have a beginning. It is not eternal as these scientist as far back as Aristotle believed

ย

Light from galaxies takes time to travel to us, but this travel time is measured from the point when the universe began (the Big Bang). So, when we say it took 290 million years for light from a galaxy to reach us, it means that galaxy formed 290 million years after the Big Bang, not before it. There was no "before" in the conventional sense because the Big Bang marks the start of time itself. Unless yourโ€™e talking about Jehovah being before. But not this universe.

ย

ย

Scientific discovery is ongoing. A year ago, JWST might have found very early galaxies, but it continues to gather data and make new discoveries..... but none of these have contradicted the Big Bang theory....just their understanding of how galaxies form.

ย

ย Nevertheless, ย ongoing discoveries by JWST continue to build on our understanding of the early universe....and amaze us.ย

Space photo of the week:

James Webb and Chandra telescopes spot a 'lighthouse' pointed at Earth

By Jamie Carter published 9 hours ago

Images from the James Webb Space Telescope and the Chandra X-ray Observatory have been combined to reveal how the Crab Nebula's neutron star is changing.

Why it's so special: This new composite image combines data from both the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) and the Chandra X-ray Observatory to reveal more about the dense neutron star at the center of one of the brightest supernova remnants in the night sky.

Investigating the Origins of the Crab Nebula With NASA's Webb

June 17, 2024 10:00AM
Release ID: 2024-120

Summary
New data revises our view of this unusual supernova explosion.

The Crab Nebula is a nearby example of the debris left behind when a star undergoes a violent death in a supernova explosion. However, despite decades of study, this supernova remnant continues to maintain a degree of mystery: What type of star was responsible for the creation of the Crab Nebula, and what was the nature of the explosion?

Astronomers just witnessed a whole galaxy 'turn on the lights' in real-time

Scientists think they know what's causing this unprecedented brightening.
By Elisha Sauers on June 18, 2024

Scientists for years thought the galaxy SDSS1335+0728 was about as remarkable as its serial code name.

Then it did something scientists had never seen a galaxy do: Suddenly, this frankly forgettable space neighborhood 300 million light-years away threw the lights on. That happened nearly five years ago, and it's only gotten brighter since.

First-of-Its-Kind Detection Made in Striking New Webb Image

June 20, 2024 10:00AM

Release ID: 2024-115

Summaryย
Alignment of bipolar jets confirms star formation theories

Some of the greatest, and most interesting, astronomical discoveries have come as a surprise to researchers, even when examining the most well-studied areas of the sky.

Often, itโ€™s new technology or chance timing that result in these discoveries. In a new study of the Serpens Nebula with NASAโ€™s James Webb Space Telescope, itโ€™s both.

In one region of the nebula, Webb has resolved what previously appeared as blurry blobs into crisp protostellar outflows. And much to researchersโ€™ surprise, those outflows are seen to be aligned, suggesting that weโ€™ve caught this region at a unique moment in its history and providing information into the fundamentals of how stars are born.

Pillars of Creation Star in New Visualization from NASA's Hubble and Webb Telescopes

Release date: Wednesday, June 26, 2024 10:00:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time

NASA has released a new 3D visualization of these towering celestial structures using data from NASA's Hubble and James Webb space telescopes. This is the most comprehensive and detailed multiwavelength movie yet of these star-birthing clouds.

"By flying past and amongst the pillars, viewers experience their three-dimensional structure and see how they look different in the Hubble visible-light view versus the Webb infrared-light view," explained principal visualization scientist Frank Summers of the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, who led the movie development team for NASA's Universe of Learning. "The contrast helps them understand why we have more than one space telescope to observe different aspects of the same object."
