iPhone mp3 music

Friends I want to transfer some 40 songs from my computer to iPhone, and listen when I go for a walk

How to transfer and listen to it afterwards? 
Hints? Suggestions? Thank you.

I have used the "Simple Transfer" app for files even video.  I have not tried music.

I don't know anything about the I(don't know)Phone but I often use a cloud storage account to transfer files. If you already back up the files from the computer to your cloud storage account, then are they available on your I(don't ask me) Phone?

I tried that, and nothing happens, don’t even know what program do I need to recognise those mp3 files (open it and play it) - thanks anyway

I think (I dont use any iOS products) the program you want to use is iTunes.  It runs on MAC as well as Windows.  It is used to sync music from Apple Store as well as whats on your pc.

Ever since I owned any Ipad I have installed Documents by Readdle.  I can load a file (of any kind) into DeopBox or Box or google Drive and then go to Documents on my Ipad or Iphone and extract it from there.

 

Maybe you could just upload the mp3 to a cloud account from your PC (Icloud, etc) and then download the file using the Ipad access to that cloud account.

Can you email the MP3 file from one device and load it from the other?

I can download it from my google drive, but no program picks up mp3 file… it goes to the “abyss”

According to Google, you can use VLC player.
Personally, I have never used any apple devices, and don't expect I ever will.

Only 1 in child my family has one. I don't know where I went wrong.
