This sums up the feelings of many I meet who are skeptical when we preach that these world events are leading up to the end of the world.

Actually honest answer to this would be that "Things are not continuing exactly as from beginning" 

We see turmoil on a scale we have not seen before.

Deterioration of this system is so visible right now.

Are all the friends around the world feeling like everything is out of control?  Or, is it here in the USA only?

 

Maybe this is a stupid question but, the changes are absolutely concerning.  I know we are close but, so many unusual situations are happening.

Still, people in general are blind and apathetic to everything that is going on.

They just go on with their normal, daily routines, and do not care about God.

Brother Malenfant in a talk he gave a while back, spoke of gradualism. People actually see the shocking conditions today as normal and go about their business as if nothing will happen.

 

Many do not believe that Jehovah will eventually step in.

I like the illustration of boiling water. When someone puts heat to water, it starts getting hotter, soon it starts to boil, maybe just a few bubbles at first, but then as more heat is applied, it starts to boil more, furiously. When Satan was confined to the earth, the water started to boil. It's really boiling now...

Well, The tariff situation is affecting other countries like Canada. 

 

The pulling back on supporting Ukraine affects most of Europe. 

 

Each country has its own crazy nonsense that we don't hear about in the US. Venezuela is in terrible shape. So is Somalia.

Carmen I’ve noticed that he has been chafing at the power of the federal judges to limit many of the things he wants to do; sending those Venezuelans to El Salvador, for example.

 

A federal judge ordered the deportations stopped and he went right ahead and sent the planes out anyway, defying the federal court order.

 

With the president clamoring for more power, one has to wonder whether he will soon have enough authority to join with other countries to give the UN “teeth”.

I’m not sure about the free world… but many outside of the US feel that he is under the impression that he owns the whole world!

Doing the same thing for 75 years hasn't given the UN any teeth or brought the world closer to peace and security. Perhaps shaking up the status quo will be productive.
