Then, in fulfillment of Daniel 11:29 and the first part of verse 30, Germany fought with the king of the south but was defeated.

Regarding the discussion prophecies in this Watchtower have a good reminder:

As it is the word of Jehova, we can expect that even if some verses refeers to a specific event (11:27), still jehova have written down the  description of the heart conditions of the north and south kings.
We can expect verses to show the behaviours (like this) to be adaptable over and over again even if it is not a prophecy over a specific event.

like when reading in proverbs over a ”wicked” person… so, you can actually find nice Gems through out daniel chap 11 on behaviours that we will see over and over again regarding the kings ways of acting.

And go beyond our galaxy, to the universe, and it makes even more sense that there will be many other places to go.

I was listening to Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff, on Fox News on SiriusXM on my way home this afternoon. They were discussing the 7 wars/conflicts that Trump has ended since coming into office. Did a double take at my radio when he called him, “the peace and security president”!

I think its interesting that world leaders use that phrase so often and so easily. Anyone that has read the Bible perks up when they hear those words. Google "Bible Peace and Security" and you'll see how many different religions are interested in those words.

In a long run ..it does not matter... it does not. 

What matters though is the fact that Jehovah decided to include this prophecy (he did not have to) in the Bible to show us what will trigger the conclusion of this system. (Yes I am aware that attack on false religion technically triggers GT) 

Jehovah was clear to include this in the Bible... 

Now as for the times and the seasons, brothers, you need nothing to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know very well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape. 4 But you, brothers, you are not in darkness, so that the day should overtake you as it would thieves..

 

Imagine if we did not have those verses in the Bible ... hmmm 

Seeing events associated with PS helps us a lot to discern where we are in the stream of time. And if someone debates that what is currently happening as insignificant and "oh..we have seen it before" then .. well that's their personal view and opinion.

Truly, Jehovah’s faithful servants will stand out as different during that desperate time of tribulation. They will still be the only group of people on earth serving Jehovah God and refusing to give their support to “the wild beast.” (Rev. 13:14-17) Their firm stand will provoke the rage of those who oppose Jehovah. Governing body firstly wrote the word coalition.  The coalition of willing was formed in March 2025  to support Ukraine  against Russian aggression. 

 

So Jehovah foresees that these nations will use the word "coalition" to call their group.
