I was thinking the same thing. I always viewed Muslims as an impenetrable force, but now I'm wondering how many of the regular citizens will welcome the "freedom" that comes with destroying Babylon the Great.

Luke 4:6 - Then the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and their glory, because it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Matthew 4:9 - And he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.”

 

Anyone can say what they want. This is my opinion. I'm a firm believer in those scriptures and why he's doing what he's doing. Not that Trump and Satan talked but imagine being the guy that checks all Satan's boxes by heart and action. No remorse.

Well all things in this old world will become clear after it is all over… 

I am sure the angels in heaven were surprised when Adam and Eve took a detour and their fellow angel was the causative factor.. 

What just happened..😳.. now what are we going to do..  that one is still playing out.

The Bible also makes mention of the different 'princes' of the world. The prince of Persia, of Greece etc, which allude to the demonic forces. 

 

Saddam Hussein in one interview mentioned that just before the Gulf war of 1991, he dreamt of the prophet commanding him to invade Kuwait. It's clear that Satan has assigned his demons power and influence over the earthly governments.

From what I remember Hitler had dreams and visions too. Definitely a pattern. Seems to be all the Nebuchadnezzar or authoritarian types. Always matching "his" personality.

 

And Saddam had Nebuchadnezzar dreams supposedly. So yeah...

The world is a mess. Except for a couple of local news articles, I haven't watched the news in about a week, because I couldn't take the negativity anymore. Tonight I was at a relative's house watching the world news with them, and saw what was going on in Iran. I had heard things here and there and had seen things pop up in my news feed, but I didn't look into it. 

They were showing disturbing scenes from Iran. I googled why they were protesting in the first place, and was sad to find out that it was over inflation and a lack of food. I couldn't help but think of the truthfulness in a Bob Marley song that says:

 

“Cost of living gets so high

Rich and poor they start to cry…

 

A hungry mob is an angry mob

A hungry man is a angry man.”

 

But more important than the words of a reggae song, Jesus said that wars and “disturbances” or uprisings will increase the closer we get to his coming during the great tribulation. Right now would be a good time to review the annual meeting talk, Be Alert, Be Decisive. It's a good reminder that these things will continue to take place up until Jehovah’s day, just like they did leading up to 70 CE. As distressing as the world situation is, it's encouraging to know we are extremely close to the realization of the millennial reign 😁

I'm 43 with a strong appetite for all things history (Biblical, political, religious, war, family, mostly.) I come from a military family and worked in defense. Just comes with it sadly.
