I'm just an observer like the rest of us, but I wonder if a three-month decisive war humiliates Putin with his four-year war at a stalemate?

What I mean is;  Does the USA/Israel war against Iran ending in three months make it more likely, or less likely, that Putin will negotiate for an end of his four year war with nothing to show for it?  He thought he was going to roll into Kyiv in days and plant his flag.  Can he end his war and save face on the world stage?   Dunno  .  .   .

A three month decisive war? What goals were achieved?

Goals are debatable, and would most likely be political anyway.  And all I know is what I read in the news, which is bias one way or the other. So, I wouldn't  want to comment on goals achieved.

Decisive, in the context I used it, only refers to the sudden beginning and sudden end.  Nothing more.

The war not over. It’s 2 months to discuss ending the war.

Is the annual meeting usually held on either October 3rd or October 4th?

As far as I know, neither one nor the other, dear Dhanyel. AM is always held on the first Saturday in October. In 2028, for example, it will be held on October 7... if we’re still in this old world.☺️

I understand you.  The kinetic warfare is more-or-less over.  But it could restart.

My comment was theoretical.  While Putin sends soldiers into a meat-grinder for over four years, is he humiliated by the strategy used by the US & Israel?  If he is humiliated, is he more likely to try to end it, or less likely?  How does he find an exit?

During World War 1, the Soviet Union's participation was known as the Great Patriotic War. It began when Germany invaded on June 22, 1941 and it ended in May 1945.  The war with Ukraine has already gone on longer.

Don't let the "stars" of the world's stage obscure your view of the whole show. Between Iran and the West, or Russia and Ukraine (or practically anywhere else), there will be no lasting peace and security until Jesus comes with his heavenly armies. No matter how many peace treaties are signed.

We cannot say for sure that Jehovah’s servants will see thousands of people dying around them. But one thing is certain: as soon as Armageddon begins, we can expect Jehovah to give peace of mind and complete physical and spiritual protection to his people—not just as a group, but also individually. Because you say, “Jehovah is my refuge,” Jehovah promises: “Nothing will harm you.” Let us look to the future with confidence, knowing that we can fully rely on Jehovah’s protection.

recently, the Japanese branch changed its translation team and I really appreciate the modern tone.

The sentence in Japanese basically means the following :
"So let’s not be afraid, let’s lift up our heads and look toward the future. For we have Jehovah, our strongest ally, who is always there to protect us."

I would say Russia sees itself as having the upper hand over Ukraine still, while the US was backed into a corner and had to make a deal and give Iran what it wanted for the sake of the global economy.

So....some of us will die in the GT before Armageddon?  That has always bothered me but, I do understand that Jehovah will protect us as a group and not individually.

It looks so. The understanding is that in A-Day we'll be protected individually. Before that, any of us can receive a ticket through the "subway" to Paradise. 😔

20 During the war of Armageddon, the psalmist’s inspired words may literally prove true: “A thousand will fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but to you it will not come near. You will only see it with your eyes as you witness the punishment of the wicked. Because you said: ‘Jehovah is my refuge,’ you have made the Most High your dwelling.” (Ps. 91:7-9) Once Armageddon begins, we can expect that Jehovah will provide complete physical, emotional, and spiritual protection for his people not just as a group but also as individuals. Because you say: “Jehovah is my refuge,” Jehovah promises: “To you it will not come near.” Let us, then, face the future with confidence, knowing that we can fully trust in Jehovah for protection.
