An overview of Jehovah’s Witnesses—what they do and how they are organized.

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Their Publications

The publications of Jehovah’s Witnesses, available in print and online, help people draw close to God and gain a greater understanding of Bible teachings. The publications also have a positive effect on the readers and can improve their quality of life.

Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Community

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Their Public Ministry

A fundamental aspect of the worship of Jehovah’s Witnesses is the sharing of the Bible’s message of good news with their neighbors. What methods do they use, and what positive impact does their ministry have on the community?

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Family Life

Jehovah’s Witnesses endeavor to apply Bible principles in their families, which benefits the husband, wife, and children. This results in a secure and loving family environment. Parents consider it a serious responsibility to teach Bible standards to their children.

Jehovah’s Witnesses-Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to ten frequently asked questions about Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Health Care

Jehovah’s Witnesses consider life as a precious gift from God. They consider both life and blood as sacred. They seek the best medical treatments available for their family and are glad to cooperate with medical professionals to find safe and effective alternatives to blood transfusions.

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Alternative Civilian Service

International law has long recognized the fundamental right to conscientious objection to military service. Jehovah’s Witnesses are grateful when governments follow international standards and provide for a genuine alternative civilian service that is of a nonpunitive nature and that benefits the community.

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Political Neutrality

In harmony with Bible teachings, Jehovah’s Witnesses are politically neutral. Many governments realize the Witnesses’ neutrality contributes to peace and acknowledge that they are law-abiding citizens who respect and cooperate with authorities.

Jehovah’s Witnesses and Assembling for Worship

Jehovah’s Witnesses consider gathering together with fellow believers to be vitally important to their faith. Their meetings, usually conducted in buildings known as Kingdom Halls, focus on Bible education and are open to the public.

When disasters strike, Jehovah’s Witnesses are prompt to render physical, emotional, and spiritual relief. Their well-organized efforts are recognized by government authorities and relief organizations.

Nice, are these new ? 2017...2018...

If you go into jw.org and to “Legal Resources” section, you can find “European Information Packets” which contains older (from 2010s) but relatively similar versions of these newer brochures. Originally, before these newer pamphlets were uploaded, the word “European” wasn’t there, and it simply read “Downloadable Information Packets” for these older brochures.

So it looks like the older versions of these books were categorised separately as “European version,” and a newer version has been written again as “Global version.” The newer version contains some similar topics to older ones.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
