Don't recall ever seeing a 5.0+ earthquake hit Montreal, Canada before.

 

It is listed as unconfirmed, but nearly 150 people confirmed that THEY felt it.  🙄

Five minutes later, 83 people confirmed feeling a 4.0+ aftershock.

 

 

In order for there to be an after shock, there has to be a before shock. 🤓

Doesn't show the area to be heavily populated.

Earthquake in China has killed  3 and injured dozens

A strong, shallow earthquake has shaken south-west China, killing at least three people and injuring more than two dozen, while a separate 7.3-magnitude quake in the nation's centre has brought down a bridge and caused other damage. 

 

The second earthquake hit the southern part of Qinghai province, about 1,000 kilometres north of the first quake in Yunnan province.

US Geological Survey geophysicist Jonathan Tytell said the two quakes were not related.

The Qinghai tremor on Saturday was followed by 453 aftershocks throughout the early morning into midday, according to the official People's Daily newspaper.

A volcanic eruption just happen this morning in the Democratic Repuublic of Congo in the city of Goma.  No injuries or death reported.  This was on Google News May 22, 2021.

Some sizeable PRE-shocks to that shallow 5.3 and it hit in a heavily populated area. 

Dutch is always talking about the Salton Sea on his earthquake updates.

Just watching the live stream just now from Dutchsinse, he is projecting a major earthquake for California in the next 7-10 days of a magnitude of 7.5 or greater.

The West Pacific is showing signs of major earthquake activity on the horizon likely to reach above M7.5 within the next 7-10 days from today (June 14, 2021). Spoiler *Watch until the end of this live broadcast, and you'll see the middle point I warned at the start of the broadcast at Papua New Guinea is filled in by NEW ERUPTIONS at Langila and Bagana volcanoes which are also in PNG! The West coast of the United States has now been hit in 2 of the 3 warned locations. The two locations, Napa Valley / Geyserville Clear Lake Volcano, and Salton Sea Volcano were both struck within the expected magnitude (M5.3 and swarm at Salton Sea Volcano) and (M4.0 and swarm at Clear Lake Volcano). We should expect the third final area to be hit just beyond the 7 day warned time (thus a forecast "miss"), but I'm still looking for spot three (Ridgecrest to Ubehebe Craters) to be hit soon by M4.9 range, if nothing strikes in the next 2 days from now, I will cancel the third warning. The new round of activity in the West Pacific should make its way to Alaska and then USA within this coming week, and a new round of even larger activity will be arriving with that new push (which I show happening now in this video in the West Pacific).

The local news has a report on the quake in Indiana.  

USGS must have finally weighed in, cuz it has been significantly downgraded.  😂

 

Turns out, the northern tip of the New Madrid fault line comes very close to Indiana. 😳

I was up and busy in the kitchen and didn’t notice. But my daughter just 2 doors down from me felt it. She said it was almost like vibrating or when somebody in the building slams their door. She texted and asked if I felt it and said she wasn’t sure if it was an earthquake until another sister asked on Facebook if anybody felt an earthquake.
