How do you use the map feature?

Map feature? 🤔 We don’t have any map feature. We just have, Talks, CLM, Attendants, Groups, Notices and Cleaning. And also the ability to put our field service reports in.

I see. There is a territory map section that allows creation, assigning, Lightbox access and updating from any desktop or mobile device.

Access has to turned on by the cong administrator so perhaps your SC or BOE have chosen not to use it.

Yeah we’re definitely not using it. That’s interesting, will have to ask about it.

Our congregation uses LB, but as many are not tech savvy with it.

We use the maps feature. During the COVID lockdown, we had so many letters return (as most used the Kingdom Hall as the return address) because the address they had used was incorrect, as some brothers were relying on certain websites such as Google and a few others where they were not accurate at all.

So we were able during the lockdown to configure it so when you are looking at the map, you can use one of the icons at the top to download a listing of all the addresses as per block on the map that you are viewing. The addresses are accurate and in order as if you were going literally from door to door,  as they have been physically been verified and have the accurate address. The brothers can download this list themselves, so they could do there letter writing instead of having to look up the numbers themselves.

We use the Public Talk schedule and the CLM schedule on it, but we don't use the roster system on it. We have our attendant roster in the notices as they are done it spreadsheet which is more suited to our needs.

Did the site go down on the weekend for anyone else? Is it now back to normal.

We can’t log in. Well I never received a login. How does someone make an account?

There was an issue here down under on the weekend.  Seems all ok now.  My understanding is once your congregation starts using your congregation administrators set you up with log in etc.
