How would it feel to be resurrected?

Recommended Posts

It’s easier to think that it’ll be simply like waking up from a deep sleep as Jesus described death as sleep.

But then a long time passes during one’s death(even though for them it’s just a moment) and dying itself is different from simply falling asleep

And plus I always wondered if Jehovah would add an additional flavor(?) to resurrection or being resurrected.

I think it will be a little different experience.   Normally you go to sleep in a bed (hopefully in a comfortable bed) and then you wake up in the same bed, in the same room, etc.  Resurrection might be somewhat different  When you way up your surroundings will likely be somewhat different.  You will most likely be aware that things are different.  It may take a few seconds to get your bearings.  You may not remember the exact moment of death, but You may have some memories of things that happened just before you died.  Were you confined to a hospital bed, living in a nursing home, or did you see a car heading toward you?  A person who committed suicide may remember taking some pills or picking up a gun, but still not remember the exact moment of death.

Just my opinion.

Kind of like this, I imagine:

Or suppose you were a person from before Jesus' day and never even heard of him or the Jews ... then, suddenly you wake up and there is a resurrection attendant standing there consulting an electronic tablet and speaking to someone else via a wireless headset
