Hurricane OTIS Landfall at Acapulco Mexico

Late yesterday a tropical storm intensified into a Category 5 hurricane in well under 24 hours in one of the most rapid storm intensifications in recorded history.

It's already a tragedy, they've never had a storm of this magnitude nor any time to protect themselves 😯

Not just our brothers and sisters. Not one soul deserves this. They had no warning, if so it was very short.

They were warned though yesterday that it would become a strong hurricane, But I doubt they knew it was a Cat 5.

This is horrific.

 

We had a strong storm last weekend here in Denmark, where large freight ships were thrown over the harbour barriers a few 100 meters on shore. That was almost a Cat 1.

This is so much stronger that it put's everything in perspective.

 

I always pray for al people, but especially for our friends.

Just saw a report on the Weather Channel, so far 27 deaths.  Praying for our brothers and sisters who live in that area.  Hope we get a report soon

In one of the posted articles it said that they went to bed with a minor tropical storm, not so unusual, but awoke to a Category 5! News reports say it hit at 1:25 CDT, so they literally were blasted awake.
