A ladder in the sky

A new “floating” staircase in Norway promises spectacular views and undeniable thrills – but it’s probably not for the fainthearted.

The 131-foot long stairway, called the “Stigull” ladder, dangles some 2,591 feet above a Norwegian fjord in the small village of Loen, in the north west of the country.

OK - who is going up next?????

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

My wife wouldn't, she has issue with height.

I have no problem with heights. We often go tree climbing in the forest, and do obstacle courses of different levels. Good exercise for all muscle groups! Much better than going to the gym.

The link article shows a couple of other pictures from climbers, and I am sure it‘s actually even probably safer than the height of the forest obstacles as you are going at your pace. and can always go down. Just the picture looks intimidating. 😅 But from afar it looks like its super high. Nonetheless, no one should think about doing above ground sport activities if they have health problems or fear of heights. 😬
