Fireworks are illegal in the town I live in, even the 'safe and sane' fireworks sold at firework stands are illegal here.

Thursday night I was up until 1am watching illegal fireworks at the Assembly Hall parking lot. There were huge fireworks all over the town. It was amazing to see so many fireworks, it was like three hours of Disneyland.

I think it is interesting that people will intentionally break the law to celebrate the birth of a nation. Isn't that just a little hypocritical?

Fireworks should be banned. Too many idiots. One guy injured his hand. Another lit fireworks on his head. Easy guess as to what happened there. And this guy was a dad.

I also find it ironic that 99% of these fireworks are made in China! A lot of people love America but still break many laws, such as traffic and taxes.

The Nation was birthed by people who weren't afraid to break the law, so it actually seems on brand. :coffee:
