I made a trip to Switzerland last year for hiking, I love treks around Grindelwald.
Some of them require cable car access as they are on tops of the mountains.
Going in few months for hikes in Austria and Southern Poland mountains.
Locally in Australia I love hiking in Grampians (I go there regularly)

I’ve never been to Switzerland but the pictures I’ve seen are so idyllic.   Looks like paradise from what I’ve seen.  But, I’ll have to remember Grindelwald!    Hope to make it there someday!

I agree.  Doesn’t look like it fits in this world. Nice glimpse of paradise though.

Grindelwald is cheating, it's too gorgeous to be in this world

Yes, it's possible, but I haven't tried.

When i went, we could see Fuji from afar, but hiking it was not part of the trip.  Hearing about the "forrest" 💀 nearby, didn't make it any more appealing.

Here in Northwest England, I love going to Darwen with my little girl. There's so many beautiful hilly spots with becks and waterfalls.

I also liked going to Alderley edge and hope I can go back when my daughter's a bit older. It has a really old mine and a stone circle that I didn't get to see because I had a kid in a pram still. When she drops the nap, I plan on going pram free with her, so as soon as I can either get a sitter for the baby that's coming or drop the pram for both, I'd love to go back. The picture doesn't do it justice. You can see the entire Manchester skyline from the hill where the forest begins:

We also had our fourth anniversary in Grasmere, which was breathtaking, and we hiked to a very small cave that was kinda fun, but the walk itself was the best part.

Lastly, when we were in Munich, there was this forest that was about a half hour bus ride away from the city: Grunwald (yes, it does have an umlaut, but I'm not typing on my phone. Sorry) forest. Our daughter was only a few months past one, and we put on her baby reins and let her walk for much of the forest and she absolutely loved it.

Going to various forests and parks is one of my favourite things to do with my little girl and she seems to love nature and flowers and trees and birds.

Grunwald

Grünwald, with an umlaut over the "u." This variation emphasizes the German pronunciation of the name. In Poland, the name is often written as Grunwaldzki, which is derived from the famous Battle of Grunwald that took place in 1410

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.
