Bro Herd is your father-in-law?!? 😁

Well, some members of the governing body have adult kids.  But I don't think brother Herd does, lol.

Actually, I know brother Morris has two sons and daughters in law.  But he's not on the Governing Body anymore.  Some governing body members in the past have had children.  There was one who they said had great grand children at the time of his death but I can't think of his name.  Further in the past when the President of the Watchtower Society took the lead, brother Joseph Rutherford had a grown son who I believe was also a Witness.

Br. Guy Pierce (died 2014) of the GB was married and had children.

Br. Rutherford's son was Malcom (see photograph).  He was Br. Russell's personal secretary or stenographer.

Al Schroeder had a son, Judah Ben Schroeder.

The difference about Guy Pierce is that he had kids before he got the truth.

Proclaimers book page 89

(subheading…”Closing Days of J.F. Rutherford) …footnote on bottom of page

Footnote

* Brother Rutherford was survived by his wife, Mary, and their son, Malcolm. Because Sister Rutherford had poor health and found the winters in New York (where the Watch Tower Society’s headquarters were located) difficult to endure, she and Malcolm had been residing in southern California, where the climate was better for her health. Sister Rutherford died December 17, 1962, at the age of 93. Notice of her death, appearing in the Monrovia, California, Daily News-Post, stated: “Until poor health confined her to her home, she took an active part in the ministerial work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
