  1. I agree with some of the above statements about cholesterol and such but Ebola is caused by a virus. Ebola is not a chronic condition and cannot be corrected by nutrition or vitamin supplements.
  2. http://tv.jw.org/#video/VODProgramsEvents/pub-jwbmw_201504_2_VIDEO Edit: Sorry about the double post, most of the replies didn't load until i brought the page back up to post the link.
  3. Do cinnamon rolls count? I love me some cinnamon rolls but you gotta make sure they're still soft and have lots of cinnamon, I hate when they get over cooked or sit out too long and get hard.
  4. Just got the streaming stick for my house and a Roku 2 for my grandparents! Going to install it for them in the morning before i go to work.
  5. I have to ask. Are all the sisters in Australia like you? If I wasn't already married to a wonderful Hispanic sister here in the states, I would have to go "shopping" down under. As far as your question, another concern (at least here in the states) is the insurance premiums on these are terribly high from what I understand. This may not be an issue in Australia.
  6. Not to be nit-picky but in this context the correct phrasing would be "A Witness of Jehovah", I believe.
  7. If this is real, This technology could revolutionize medicine depending on how accessible it is.
  8. I asked my daughter (who just turned 4 a few days ago) this as I was reading and she said "Jehovah!". I know that she was just guessing because we always ask her who made the different animals and plants and things, but, she still got it right.
  9. This is the only thing that jumped out at me and caused me to think for a second. Poison Ivy only itches if you are allergic to it. Will perfect people have allergic reactions? I hope not. Had my first run in with Poison Ivy this summer, apparently, I am extremely allergic to it.
  10. I've never had any luck with that either, always have to switch to safari.
  11. It looks scary but it's so fragile that just falling off that log that it's sitting on would probably kill it. They don't have an internal skeleton to stabilize the "guts" so any real impact to a spider that big would basically scramble their insides. That's why you always see them moving very slowly and methodically if they are off the ground.
  12. I don't really thing the blood issue will come up as by the time you're hemorrhaging from every orifice you're too far gone to be saved from what I understand. The primary treatment I believe is to try to keep the patient hydrated and topped off on electrolytes while trying stop the diarrhea and vomiting.
  13. I am happy that you've made so much progress on the health front and it sounds like you're doing it right. However, please don't get caught up in your BMI, It's a pile of bunk. Someone who is very muscular will register as overweight or obese using BMI because muscle is heavier than fat. Weight is just a number, get yourself to a state where you can do the things you want to do and it's all good.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few days for the AM videos to be uploaded.
  15. Right now they only have the highlights from 2013 and 2012 but according to Bro.Lett entire talks from 2014 coming.
  16. The interesting thing about the cases from Congo is that they are from a different strain of Ebola.
  17. The incubation period is UP TO 21 days, sometimes shorter. The patient is not contagious until symptoms appear after the incubation period. This is a problem in West Africa because one of the first symptoms is fever and sweating. those are also the first symptoms of other diseases endemic to West Africa like Malaria. Another symptom early in the progression of the disease is aches. In the U.S. at this time of year the most common cause of both fever and aches is the common cold, but instead of sweat you get the chills. It is starting to cool off here in Texas so someone here with fever, aches AND sweating should start to stand out more and more as the weather gets cooler.
  18. I've never heard of any disease with the symptoms that you are describing. The Marburg virus is a sister to Ebola but as far as symptoms they all pretty close
  19. Trina, on 03 Oct 2014 - 10:54 AM, said: If they are sterilizing the ambulance and whole areas where these people have been that means it can be passed very easily...not just by touching the person like they are trying to say. Well as far as sterilizing the ambulance and other surfaces I wouldn't read too much into that. I was an EMT on a 911 response ambulance for 3 years and it was just standard procedure to sterilize the ambulance and the room in the ER after each patient.
  20. Well, I was just trying to follow along the idea of something causing the political leaders to turn on Christendom. Everybody already knows about all the other hate. "Christians" at the moment are playing the good guys to the Muslims bad guys so they have to remind those in power that they are just as bad (they just know how to hide it better).
  21. With all the hatred of Muslims in "Christian" countries, perhaps there will be some major Christian on Muslim violence that demonstrates they are all the same as far as contributing to peace and security.
  22. I find that many so called Christians also believe that Jehovah is just one of Jesus/God's "many names". You hear that one all the time here in the south when you talk to people about God's name.
